The Town is divided into two wards, Victoria Park and Carlisle, each with four elected Council members. Under the leadership of the Mayor, the Councillors serve the community in a voluntary capacity for four years. The Council acts as a community board, establishing policies and making decisions within the rules of the Local Government Act on a wide range of issues affecting the community.
