Review LPPS - Boundary Walls

Submissions are invited on a draft modification to the Council’s Local Planning Policy relating to Boundary Walls.

Council’s Local Planning Policy – Boundary Walls was adopted on 4 August 2009. The current Local Planning Policy – Boundary Walls prevails over Clause 6.3.2 of the Residential Design Codes (2008) which contains provisions relating to boundary walls.

Since the implementation of the current Local Planning Policy – Boundary Walls, several deficiencies in the application of the requirements have been identified and therefore, are required to be addressed. In addition, with the adoption of the revised R-Codes in 2010, it is considered appropriate to review and update the current Local Planning Policy relating to boundary walls.
